About Jonathan Bjørn Elley

Jonathan Bjørn Elley is a graphic designer and art director pursuing an MA in Graphic Communication Design at the Royal Danish Academy. He works across visual identities, illustration, print design, photography and editorial design, driven by storytelling and image-making.

Over the years, he has worked with clients such as Holly Golightly, HAY, Nørgaard paa Strøget, Fichi Collection, B.93 Boldklubben af 1893, Akua Objects, Villa Sonja, Tekno Eatery, Granola Restaurant, Skall Studio, N.E.W.S Project and many more. His projects move freely between illustration, print, objects and editorial work.

Illustration is often at the centre of his work, alongside an interest in composition and experimenting with new techniques. He is drawn to work that feels simple, playful and considered, and to creating visual ideas that can move between different formats and live beyond a single image or surface.
